Please don’t leave yet, Fall!

I’m not a fan of cold weather. Last week, Tennessee, like the rest of the country, got hit with Novembruary temperatures. I was just getting used to the fall weather when that nonsense struck! Thankfully, we’re back to comfortable temperatures because I’m not ready to be cold all of the time!

This outfit was from last week, and I had planned to wear a giant infinity scarf that my mother-in-law had given me last Christmas, but by the time I finished getting ready, I was too hot to even consider it! I regretted that decision in my cold office that afternoon!

This is becoming the “Amber and K dog blog!”DSC05122

I took a suggestion from Jen at Librarian for Life and Style and took an up-close picture of my accessories. I really like the way this turned out!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  1. I hear you on the temperatures. I was a bitter complainer all last week. We left Michigan for warmer winter! We were so spoiled last year in Savannah. It was gorgeous all year round. The temperatures last week were giving me a panic attack that we’d be in for a long winter here in Nashville. Thankfully things have leveled out a bit.

This look is perfectly fall: cozy, with warm hues, and topped off with those cute boots. I also love the peek of lace beneath your sweater. I just read an article making fun of dated trends…including lace camis…Whoops! I still love and wear them! I tried not to take it personally. I’m still fabulous, lace camis or not. You too! lol

    • I’m glad yesterday was nice because I’m not ready at all to bust out my big coat! I bet Savannah is gorgeous, also. It’s on our “to visit” list!

Thanks for the compliment! I love those boots and the lace cami, dated or not. Ha! We shouldn’t worry because our lace camis (like overalls) will come back around! 😉

  2. Love the jewelry closeup! (and the way you arranged your jewelry) Cute outfit, especially the peek of lace from the camisole underneath the sweater.

    • Thanks for the compliment and the suggestion to do so in the other post. I admit that I spent a lot longer than I should have trying to arrange it in just the right way! 🙂
